Neben intensiven Studien der klassischen Malerei – von der Renaissance bis zur Gegenwart –
verbinde ich auch experimentelle, expressive Arbeitsweisen und Gesten.
In diesem freien Feld entstehen Werke, die sich sowohl festen Dogmen als auch akademischen Lehren
bewusst entziehen.

Inspiration finde ich in den radikalen Bildwelten von Francis Bacon, den tiefen Schwarzstrukturen
von Pierre Soulages
und den farbarchitektonischen Rhythmen von Sean Scully.
